Legal Notice / Disclaimer

1. Content Liability

All content on this website is created with care. No guarantee is given for accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

2. External Links

This website contains links to third-party platforms. External providers are responsible for their content. Liability is governed by applicable law; mandatory rights are not excluded.

3. Copyright

All media, code, logos, designs, and text—unless stated otherwise—belong to SpectrumB or their creators. Unauthorized use is forbidden.

4. Patreon Memberships

Optional paid memberships are offered and billed by Patreon, not through this website. A SpectrumB account can be linked to Patreon to check eligibility for SpectrumB Premium benefits. The available benefits and price are shown on the relevant Patreon membership page.

5. Technical Availability

No guarantee is given for continuous or error-free operation of the website.

6. No Monitoring Obligation

Third-party content is not actively monitored. If unlawful material becomes known, it will be removed promptly.

Privacy Notice

Technical information transmitted automatically (e.g. IP address, browser type) may be stored in standard server logs for security and operational purposes. Embedded media or external scripts may collect technical data as required by their providers.

Accounts, pack creation and collaboration

The controller is Valentin Schlegel; contact: contact.spectrumb@gmail.com. Account registration stores your username, email address, a password hash, verification status and account timestamps. Sessions and security records support authentication, account recovery and abuse prevention. Passwords are not displayed to other users.

Pack owners can search registered usernames to invite an editor to a specific pack. Search results contain an account identifier, username and optional display name, not email addresses or Steam IDs. An invitation records the pack, inviting account, invited account, role, response state and timestamps. Editing access starts only after acceptance. Invitations are shown within the account; email delivery is not required.

We store pack content, revisions and editing activity to provide saving, synchronization and collaboration. Pack owners and accepted editors can access private packs. Private packs and pending invitations are not listed on public profiles. Public packs can be viewed by visitors; unlisted packs can be viewed by anyone with their link. A public profile is optional and shows your username, optional display name, available avatar and bio, published packs and contributions you choose to credit. Profiles are hidden by default. Usernames remain available to signed-in pack owners for invitations. Contributor credit is off by default and can be changed for each accepted pack in your account.

Processing needed to provide the account, invitations, packs and requested game synchronization is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security and abuse prevention serve legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f). Optional public profile publication follows your choice under Art. 6(1)(a); you can withdraw it in account settings. Pack owners control publication, and collaborators control their own public credit. Publication can make data accessible internationally; downloaded copies cannot be recalled.

Game integration, retention and deletion

Pairing connects your existing SpectrumB account and devices to the BONELAB Milsim service. Platform identifiers, device credentials, loadout profiles and related game data are processed for the requested integration. Pack invitations do not expose platform identifiers or automatically grant in-game administrator permissions.

Account and pack data remain while needed for the account and requested features. Account deletion is available in settings, subject to the existing operator-account safeguard. Deleting an ordinary account removes its owned packs and membership records; other owners' packs remain. Leaving a pack removes your editing access, and revoking an invitation removes the opportunity to accept it. Previously downloaded copies and ordinary backups may remain outside the live account database. Specific retention schedules for logs, editing history, closed invitations and backups, along with hosting and mail processors and international-transfer safeguards, still require operator verification. Contact us for information about these periods and recipients.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to contact.spectrumb@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority or your competent supervisory authority.

User content and reports

Creators retain rights in their own content and should publish only content they are entitled to share. To report suspected unlawful content, email contact.spectrumb@gmail.com with the exact pack link, reasons and supporting information, your name and email address where applicable, and a statement that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Reports will be assessed; mandatory legal rights and obligations are not excluded by the disclaimers above.

Optional Patreon Account Linking

When you choose to connect Patreon to your SpectrumB account, Patreon asks you to authorize the connection. We receive your Patreon user ID and, when available, email address and membership details for the SpectrumB campaign. We store the account link, membership status, tier IDs, charge status, entitled amount and verification timestamps to determine and keep your SpectrumB benefits up to date. Patreon may send membership-change notifications to our server. We do not receive or store your Patreon password or payment-card details.

We use this information to provide the account-linking service you request and to verify Premium access. Webhook delivery records, which can include a Patreon member ID, are removed once older than 30 days when another valid event arrives or reconciliation runs. The account link is removed when you disconnect Patreon; ordinary server backups may retain a copy for their normal backup period.

You can disconnect Patreon from your SpectrumB account at any time on the account page; this removes the stored account link and ends Patreon-based access. Patreon manages the membership and payments separately, so disconnecting here does not cancel a Patreon membership. For Patreon’s own processing, see its privacy information. For questions or requests about data held by SpectrumB, contact contact.spectrumb@gmail.com.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you give consent via the cookie banner. IP addresses are processed according to Google Analytics configuration; the anonymize_ip setting alone is not a guarantee of anonymous processing. You can change or withdraw consent using Cookie settings. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Waitlist / Email Sign-up

If you submit your email address through our waitlist form, we store that email address together with the date, your IP address and browser information. We use it solely to send you occasional updates about SpectrumB (such as launch announcements).

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form.
Retention: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data.
Your rights: you can unsubscribe at any time, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your stored data by contacting contact.spectrumb@gmail.com.

We do not sell your email address. Service providers supporting hosting and email delivery may process it as needed for those services.
